William Hamilton
City Garden Chelsea 2002
Hortasia

William's first-ever design submission for the Chelsea Flower Show was accepted by the Royal Horticultural Society and is shown in the BBC's coverage of the City Garden: this year's theme at the show.

The three pictures on the right show how the site looked before work started (Saturday 11th) and during the final stages of construction on Sunday 19th (with a couple of his team).

You can see that William's arm is in a sling: during the week (not while building the garden) he dislocated his arm and was hospitalised. He still managed to get the garden to the planned state.
